2013 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge

The University of Michigan Solar Car Team has started its quest for their first World Championship. They have finished in the top three five times but feel this year's car "Generation" is more efficient and competi-tive than any car in the past.

The race began on October 5th and includes an 1,800 mile journey across Australia. They are competing against 40 other teams from 23 countries.
